Am Anfang von Duell of the Fates und auch während einzelnen passagen singt immer mal ein Chor. Weiß jemand von euch ob das irgenteinen sinn hatt oder ob das ne Phantasie Sprache ist???
 
john williams hat im making of mal gesagt, das es ne reine phantasie sache ist und er diesen "text" wegen diesen a´s und so weiter gemacht hätte.. weil das so wunderbar klingen würde.. bla bla.. weiss den genauen wortlaut nicht, aber deine frage war ja auch nur, ob es eine richtige sprache ist oder nicht! und das ist es definitiv NICHT! (zumindest laut john williams! ;) )
 
Auf der Epi. I-DVD wird auch gesagt, dass es keinen tieferen Sinn hat und sich einfach nur gut anhört aber es ist nicht mehr als ein langziehen von verschiedenen Lauten, Vokalen usw. :) (aber es ist doch wirklich gut, finde ich)

Williams used two lines from Robert Graves' poem "Battle of the Trees" ? "Under the tongue root a fight most dread, and another raging, behind, in the head" ? which he had translated into several languages and chose Sanskrit because he liked the way it sounded. He didn't use all the words, just selected ones. Here is the Sanskrit transliteration:

For the funeral sequence, Williams added words of his own ("Death's long sweet sleep") and had those loosely translated into Sanskrit as well. At this point, the chorus is singing:
Madhurah swehpna, go rahdomah swehpna,

Mooritioo, madhurah swehpna.
