Hi!
Weiß jemand genaueres über die Hexer von Tund? Ich komme auf die Frage, weil ich im Moment die Lando Calrissian-Trilogie lese und ich gerne etwas mehr über diese Wesen erfahren würde. Es scheint einem so, als wären sie auch machtbegabt? Und gibt es irgendwo die Geschichte, wie Rokur Gepta die anderen Hexer von Tund vernichtet?

Sorry, ich kann dir nicht helfen, da dieses Buch das einzige Star Wars-Buch ist, das ich je nach den ersten 20 Seiten zurück ins Regal stellte, weil ich es so langweilig fand ...
Auch die Star Wars-Union-Datenbank weiss nichts darüber ...
Aber es gibt ja noch andere, die dir diie Antwort geben können *g*.
 
Ich hab die Landobücher schon fertig gelesen, denn aus meiner Sicht waren diese Bücher gut. Aber viel mehr hat man über dieser Hexer auch nicht erfahren. Man erfährt bloß, dass diese Leute einst mächtige Zauberer waren, bis sie schließlich von einem vermeintlichen Schüler, der mächtiger war als sie alle zusammen ausgelöscht worden sind und Tund als lebloser Planet zurückblieb. Aber die Quelle ihrer Kräfte wird nie beschrieben. Was ich mir aber vorstellen könnte wäre, dass sie die Macht irgendwie doch auch genutzt haben wie auch einige andere Gruppierungen in der Galaxis, siehe die Fallansi oder die Aiing Ti-Mönche. Aber Geschichten über sie hab ich bisher noch nicht gesehen. Vielleicht gibts da ein paar Comics, aber ehrlich gesagt würd ich das bezweifeln.
 
Aus der "ultimativen Chronologie":

Es ist nicht bekannt, ob Palpatine wusste, dass Rokur Gepta eigentlich ein Croke war, eine winzige schneckenartige Kreatur aus den Unbekannten Regionen. Der Imperator zeigte bereits seit langem großes Interesse an den Zauberern von Tund, da deren Religion auf einer archaischen Auslegung der Lehre der Sith basierte. Gepta hatte die Fähigkeit der Croke, Illusionen zu erzeugen, dazu genutzt, diese Geheimgesellschaft zu unterwandern, ihre Sith-Lehre anzunehmen und sie anschließend zu vernichten. Tund ist heute nur mehr eine unbewohnte, verstrahlte Einöde und Geptas Tod bedeutete das endgültige Aus für die Zauberer von Tund.

Sorcerers of Tund
an allegedly ancient and mysterious brotherhood of magicians from the Tund System, these overly flashy sorcerers clothed themselves in distinctive charcoal-gray robes and turban-like headgear that covers everything but their eyes. Their race was unknown, since no one outside the brotherhood has seen one without their robes on. The Jedi Knights knew of the Sorcerers, who called their connection to the Force magic. The Jedi Council of the ancient Old Republic chose to allowed the Sorcerers to continue their dabblings in the Force, provided that they didn't turn very far down the path to the Dark Side. In the aftermath of the Battle of Ruusan, the Sorcerers were all but forgotten. What no one realized is that, near the time the Empire was born, the Sorcerers were wiped out, and the planet Tund reduced to a glowing ball of ash, by Rokur Gepta. Gepta continued to spread rumours and stories about the Sorcerers, to keep his mystique valid. Emperor Palpatine even became interested in the Sorcerers, believing that their religious teachings were based on ancient Sith doctrines

primary planet in the Outer Rim's Tund System, it was home to a brotherhood of sorcerers. The planet used to be a lush, evergreen-forested world, but Rokur Gepta destroyed it, reducing it to a smoking ball of ash. From space, the planet seems to glow with a greenish-blue inner light, the source of which is intense residue left over from the magic Rokur Gepta unleashed on it. Note that the Star Wars Databank indicates that the planet Tund was the homeworld of the Toong race.

Sorcerers of Tund
For thousands of years before the Battle of Yavin, the Sorcerers of Tund studied the mystical arts in their monastic enclaves on their homeworld of Tund, seeking a better understanding of the galaxy and the powers that held it together. While members of the Jedi Order would recognize their field of study as training in the Force, the Sorcerers saw their abilities as a kind of magic, and presented themselves to the galaxy at large as powerful wizards.

The Jedi Council knew of the Sorcerers, and periodically sent representatives to Tund-at first to try to convince the Sorcerers to join the Jedi Order and study the Force without the trappings of mysticism and magic. But as the Sorcerers demonstrated power oftentimes at least as great as that of the Jedi sent to recruit them, the Jedi Council discreetly chose to allow the Sorcerers to study the Force in their own way-provided, of course, they did not delve into the teachings of the dark side. Later representatives came only to observe and evaluate, seeking signs that the Sorcerers had become corrupted. Satisfied that they were not, the Jedi Order developed a comfortable detente with the Sorcerers of Tund. But roughly one thousand years before the Battle of Yavin, the Jedi Order became preoccupied with the Sith Lord Kaan, and following the terrible battle on Ruusan, the depleted ranks of the Jedi ceased visiting Tund and eventually the Jedi all but forgot about the Sorcerers.

Rokur Gepta

Eager to extend his reach beyond the tiny world of Tund, Gepta exploited the Sorcerers' knowledge for his own plans of galactic domination After learning all the Sorcerers could teach him, Gepta killed the last of the Sorcerers and laid waste to their planet.[...]
